I'm a dad and love to cook. I really started about mid-2002 cooking dinner almost nightly. There's a food writer named Mark Bittman. He has several books out and writes a column in the New York Times called The Minimalist. His books are mainstays at our house. I can't tell you how many delicious meals and snacks we've had using his recipes. Two of our favorites are his Grilled Tenderloin in Roquefort Sauce and Steamed Chicken Breats with Scallion-Ginger Sauce. Both are quite simple and out of this world! Give his books a look at the bookstore and if his recipes sound good, they almost always are.
I love to make biscuits. I guess it's the seemingly endless variations of recipes for basic biscuits that keeps me coming back to them, trying to find the perfect biscuit.
