Just over 10 years ago I traded in a 17 year career in the computer field a most rewarding profession in health. Therapeutic massage and nutritional lifestyle counseling are my main occupations.
I also have my own karate school, the Women's Center Karate Club located on the west side of Midtown Manhattan between Times Square and Penn Station. My current rank is 3rd degree black belt in shotokan karate. For more information about this wonderful establishment see www.wckcnyc.org
My interest in nutrition and massage stem from having been diagnosed with horrifically painful rheumatoid arthritis. With a few exceptions, the medical establishment doesn't typically recognize the link between food and arthritis (and other diseases), my body's ability to recover and continue training in karate is proof enough for me!
Each of my vocations dovetails nicely with the other. First I beat 'em up then I say here's my card, come in for a wonderful massage treatment ![]()
