about me

Mother of two, wife to Tom and full time student at the University of Virginia.
My mother taught me to cook and I often include my girls in the measuring, mixing and the no heat aspects of cooking. Dinner time is a big deal in our house and we try to make it fun. My oldest daughter is the biggest complainer, but I try never to dumb it down and hope that her love of all things processed will one day fly away.

Favorite Foods:

I feel like I have a pretty good palate, but I don't like foods that are overly complicated or too pretentious. I like all types of food and will try nearly everything at least once. When dining out I love Greek/Mediterranean and German food, which is I think is some of the only food that tastes better out.
