about me

I like to create recipes to support our family's healthy eating program AND are fun to make and eat. We are aiming for around 2000 calories daily, composed of 20% fat, 40% protein, 40% carbohydrate. Lower sodium is important too. RecipeZaar is a great help in adapting favorite recipes to this new way of cooking. We love it!

Favorite Foods:

Chicken, curry, fruit, cabbage, sashimi, soup, chili, stroganoff, stuffed cabbage rolls, bell peppers. Favorite seasonings and herbs include cumin, chili powder, turmeric, garlic, black pepper, basil, thyme, chives....
