about me

I love to collect cookbooks and read recipes. I have been collecting them for 25 years and have over 300 cookbooks.

My passion for cooking started at a young age while watching my grandmother and aunt cook together in the kitchen. I always wanted to help and they gave me little jobs to do.

I experiment in the kitchen every chance I get and enjoy making new dishes for my family of 4 to enjoy.

I have 2 boys and a wonderful hubby to call my own. We live near a lake in a small town. Life is simple here and we take time to smell the roses, along with lots of good smells coming from my kitchen.
