about me

My name is Rosalyn. I was born here in the USA but most of my family is still in Madrid. So needless to say, Spanish food is my favorite of all time foods to eat. Fresh Seafoods, marinades, meats, are all foods I love.

My Italian-American husband of 24+ years and I live in Brielle, NJ. It is the most beautiful place to us. We love the beach, the salt water aroma, and having a lot of quiet time during the "off" seasons. Our 1 and only child is in her 2nd year at NYU Law after graduating near top of her class at Boston College, so we are quite proud and well blessed. We both worked in NYC for many years. I stopped working when I became a mother, my DH still commutes into NY 3x a week.

Enough on me and back to food; I have been frequenting this site on plenty of ocassions to find recipes. I finally have joined to begin ratings. I have about 12 favorite chefs that I have made about 5 of their recipes each. So if you see repeat reviews, it's me spamming because I really like their recipes. I only add chefs to favorites if I like at least 5 or more of their recipes. I give 5 stars only if I LOVE the recipe and would make it again.
