I never had any sort of interest in cooking, until I took a six-month trip across the country in 2005-2006. Came back home after six months of Denny's and gas-station beef jerky and soggy sandwiches, and I craved real home cooking like I never had before! It was truly an instantaneous thing for me, but I never looked back - and looking up new fun recipes has become one of my favorite things to do! I'm so glad that I learned to cook!
Bacon! Almost any kind of cheese and red meat. Olives, asparagus, buffalo chicken. Definitely have a savory inclination.
