about me

I'm a mother, grandmother & the wife of a recently retired miltary member. I enjoy cooking & love the adventure of trying new dishes. I grow fresh vegetables each year no matter where I live. This year I'll be establishing a permanent garden spot- no more moving! My husband also enjoys cooking. He's originally from the Northeast & i'm a Southern Gal so our tastes have blended a little over the years. We've also added some ethnic style from foreign influences. But nothing beats southern comfort food for me. In addition to my interest in cooking I also enjoy many art crafts such as sewing & painting. Oh yeah, I am really involved in horticulture, indoors & outdoors.

Favorite Foods:

Almost anything that doesn't include banana as an ingredient. I'm always up for trying something new. I guess that explaines some of the far out dishes I've came up with- some inedible!
