about me

I love to be around family and friends, and yet I also like time to myself. I'm very content reading, journaling, making jewelry and writing letters to friends. I have a dream of living an old fashion lifestyle of cooking using my vegetables from the garden, and only eating my own jam and applesauce. I'd love to have kids and use cloth diapers. I would love to live in a neighborhood where people regularly dropped by to say 'hello'. I love the oudoors...could camp for weeks at a time. Inland lakes are my favorite places to swim. I love to travel, but dislike the eating out that comes with it. So, I've learned to cook on hot plates in hotel rooms. I want to go to Africa. I want to make a difference. I love being around people who love what they do. I love the way music moves people. I love being married to my bestfriend.

Favorite Foods:

I love fruits and veggies and finding a way to add them to just about anything...nectarines and apples in curry...zucchini, carrots, and celery in chili...a hint of fresh just makes everything taste better! If I were to open a restaurant, I'd enjoy specializing in soups...and my husband would make "anything in a burrito".
