Cooking to me can be cheap therapy or something of a migraine. It all depends on the day. I enjoy cooking but I have some picky eaters at my house which complicates everything. Since I have those darn picky eaters, alot of times leftovers go to neighbors or family members. I love hearing from them their thoughts on the food I've made.
It's AMAZING how good you feel when someone actually likes your cooking. (and I'm not a bad cook)
We have the "no - thank you bite" in my house. You have to at least try it (w/an open mind) It works, sometimes.
I love to try new recipes. I've tried to fit a new recipe in once a week but it doesn't always work out that way. But I'm not giving up!
My downfalls are pasta, breads and cheese.
That is where my comfort is!
By no means am I a picky eater. I will try most anything once.
I lean more towards chicken and fish dishes but we have to have beef in the house for the male portion of the house.
