about me

I live in a rural area on the east coast of Canada with my wife and 11 year old son. Growing up here, I was fortunate enough to have a father that traveled all over the world (Pilot) and loved to come home and introduce us to culinary delights from places he had visited. He was my role model, my approval that guys CAN cook, and also gave me a great "hunger" to seek out and try different foods.

Now, depending on the project, I travel all over the world (IT Geek) and love to try new dishes in the places I visit. Sometimes I do try to recreate the foods I enjoyed while away, and RecipeZaar has made this a much easier and tastier adventure.

I have tried many of the recipes posted on RecipeZaar, but before today (St. Patrick’s Day ’09) had not rated any. Well, I think it’s time to start saying “thank you” to all those of you that have helped me to WOW my family, friends, and co-workers with your delicious recipes.

Thanks! …and I CAN’T WAIT to try more!

Favorite Foods:

I do love heat (Thai heat, chili heat, curry heat, hot wings, wasabi, bring it on!), but not ONLY heat. It has to have great flavour as well.

Of course, it does not even have to have any heat, that's just a pet project I have, to find great heat with great flavour.
