about me

I drive a senior van for a living, taking older folks to medical appointments. Not too exciting, granted, but it gives me lots of time to think about "what's for dinner?" I often bring a cookbook or two with me to work.

My favorite cooking challenges are attempting to make great things lower in fat/calories, and replicating a dish that I have enjoyed whilst eating out, at home.
I also love experimenting with recipes, but I am not too crazy about the clean-up!

I have been told I make a mean apple pie, but it is really hard to critique your own cooking, so I will take their word for it!

Favorite Foods:

Chicken and Broccoli Alfredo, Lasagna, Souvlaki of any variety, Cream of Mushroom soup from a can, (I know, sorta childish) corn on the cob, a good medium rare steak, Jordan almonds, and I guess I would be remiss (being from Buffalo) if I didn't say Chicken Wings.
