about me

live and work here in southern southeast alaska...have two beautiful kids 8 and 3 and a wonderful boyfriend so were a busy family.....i love to cook and always have...hope to find and share great recipes here!!
i have recently discovered a serious liking for the spicier side of eating THANKS BABE!!!
my hunny makes some of the best food i have ever tasted hope to be able to share some of his recipes as well!!
ketchikan has a few wonderful restaurants that offer a very diverse menu, my hunny and i absolutely love the "Thai house" its where we had our first date and the cuisine is FABULOUS!!! there are way too many to list but if anyone is ever headed to ketchikan hit me up i can recomend several great places to eat!!

Favorite Foods:

love all foods, but of course have my comforts.....caseroles, pastas, cheeses, and potatoes....hehehe but truly i love all
foods and will try anything at least once...
i am famous in my home town of wrangell alaska for my baked macaroni and cheese...this recipe took me 15 years to perfect and it shows....also famous for my super simple potato salad, and my lasagna from scratch (minus pasta, and i didnt kill the cows! hahaha), my pork noodles (basically a tweeked version of lo mein i suppose), and my ground beef enchiladas....uber yummy!!!
cooking has been one thing i have ecxelled in all of my life (fried my first egg at 6), and i enjoy making everything that i cook.
