I am a retired church administrator - actually had to retire early because of my disabilities. Now, I paint, do pen and ink ark work, read, crochet and write when I am not trying to do my housework. Actually, the painting and crocheting and reading and pen and ink artwork takes up much more time than I ever thought it would when I was working! But then when I was working, I wasn't feeling "as poorly" as I do now. But since food is a necessary thing, I do take interest in cooking and baking.
Chocolate, chocolate, chocolate! Then I would say a really good beef steak hits the spot, and the 12 or 21 grain breads are right up there at the top. In the vegetable department, I love celery (fresh and raw), corn, asparagus, peas, tomatoes and of course artichoke hearts.
In the dessert department, I am torn between a really good, rich German Chocolate Cake and a rich, yummy chewy brownie.
Meats: Beef is my favorite, with chicken in second (I do't eat it a lot because I am allergic to chicken), then turkey and finally pork. But living Biblically, then pork is out the window. However, every once in a while I do want a piece of pork, and I do eat one chop once, oh say about every other month.
I am probably best known for my chili and for my home made bread. Or maybe my pot roast - I guess it depends on whom you ask.
Pet peeve: not using correct English or not pronouncing our words correctly. Other than that, I am pretty easy going. Oh, one other pet peeve is men not removing their hats when they are indoors.
