[Unfortunately] Expat from San Francisco, California. Long experience cooking for pleasure and working in cheese/imported foods area.
Love animals and hope to relocate to work in a great animal sanctuary within the next 4 to 6 months.
My favorite restaurant is my home kitchen and Acqua in San Francisco, California as well as most of the ethnic restaurants in S.F.
I love to garden and raise much of my own food and flowers; however, live at 7,500 feet in foothills of the Rockies--we have only about 90-95 day growing season, but have managed pretty well--I even grow my own tomatoes indoors...as well as herbs. Look forward to getting to a climate with a longer, more favorable growing zone. I try to cook one new dish every week and have found 'Zaar to be an inspiration.
