about me

My husband and I are originally from the islands of Guam and Saipan. I am 44 yrs. old and have been blessed with 4 beautiful kids. I have two boys and two girls. They are 22 yrs., 18 yrs., 16 yrs., and 5 yrs. old. I've been married to the love of my life for almost 23 yrs. now. I really enjoy cooking for my children and my husband. We both enjoy entertaining our friends, and always show them true Chamorro hospitality. We especially enjoy our quiet times together. I've had a passion for collecting recipes, cookbooks, and clippings, or just about anything with a recipe on it. I have been collecting since I was in 8th grade, when I was first introduced to recipes in home ec. class. After being a stay at home mom for many years, I have gone back to school and I'm now a dental assistant for a clinic on post; helping to give our soldiers a better smile; and I love it!! My husband is the DCSM for the 101st Screaming Eagles; Fort Campbell, KY..... I'm so proud of him!!!

I've decided to include this portion here for any of my swap partners; just some likes and dislikes.....especially with all the swap I participate in. I am not a picky person!! I love anything and everything, LOL!! My favorite colors are burgundy, golds, and olives. My favorite scents are pomegranate, gardenia and anything CLEAN smelling. I love hydrangeas, they are my most favorite flower next to roses!!! I am not allergic to anything, just the seasonal allergies, at least nothing I've found yet....I hope this help some of my swap partners; and If you'd like to know more that I've not covered here.....just zmail me.

Favorite Foods:

With my husband being in the military, we've traveled to many places and have met many people of various ethnic backgrounds. I've come to sample a wide variety of foods and now have a lot of favorites. I am not a picky eater and will try almost anything once.....but my all time favorites are home baked chocolate chip cookies, really great fried chicken, Vietnamese (pho), Korean and chamorro foods.
