about me

I consider myself an average cook and really enjoy trying new recipes. My DH is German and I love mastering his mother's recipes since I know he misses her cooking a lot. She's taught me how to cook many of her "signature" dishes and I have finally worked up the courage to attempt her superbly delicious cheesecake recipe.

We have two grown children (one of whom refuses to leave the nest - guess we've made it a little too comfortable) and one grandchild.

Crab legs with drawn butter is my ultimate indulgence.
