about me

This is Sophie.....she's my constant companion, and the best thing the Easter Bunny ever brought us.

Hubby and I have been married over 21 years (how did that happen?....I can't POSSIBLY be that old!!) and have two lovely daughters (16 and 10) that alternate between being my source of joy, or source of frustration, lol. Hubby and I have a home based photography business which (among other things) keeps us hopping. I dabble in all kinds of hobbies and crafts...from sewing and upholstery work to stained glass and crocheting.

Favorite Foods:

Favorites??? hmm....that is a constantly evolving list. Mexican, Italian, Chinese, Lebanese....all have been favorites at various times. I have lupus and diabetes, so I am always looking for healthy but delicious recipes. It is miserably hot here in the summer, and I don't like to cook then....so we eat a lot of cold things then, or grill to avoid heating up the kitchen. I am seriously thinking of talking my hubby into building a pizza oven in the back yard, lol.
