about me

I live in the southern suburbs of Chicago, in a small, quaint town. I love to try new and great sounding recipes. I collect cook books having just donated about 3oo to the local Human Society 2nd chance Resale Shop.
I also love being by the water and fishing in summer, which I don;t get enough time to do. I am not working anymore but spend many days looking and reading and collecting recipes.Playing with grandkids is a favorite passion for me also.We have a small dog adopted from the Humane society , she is abt. 8yrs. old ,have had her about 1 1/2 yrs now, she is the best lil girl anyone could have ,she is an absolute delight to have around.

Favorite Foods:

Crockpot Pot Roast! My kids all love my chicken and Polenta including me ! I have many favorite restaurants from cheap to fairly expensive , as long as the food is great I;m for it !!
