Favorite Foods:

American comfort foods are my faves — meatloaf, chicken and dumplings, spaghetti, beef stew, stuffed peppers, open-face roast beef sandwiches with mashed potatoes and gravy, and I love those chilled desserts using cream cheese, Jell-O, Cool Whip and graham cracker crumbs. I have tons of spiral bound cookbooks from churches, Junior League and have a large vintage collection of those cook booklets from brand name companies.

Usually when searching for new recipes, I'll begin by searching for casserole dishes, crockpot, Amish, Mennonite, Pennsylvania Dutch, and American Midwest & South regions.
