about me

I am a Piano Technician, as is my husband. I am also a Real Estate Agent here in Southern California. My new hobby is — you guessed it — cooking!! This website is invaluable to me, and I can't thank all of you enough!!

I also enjoy Needlepoint and Sewing, and taking care of my precious husband. I am the mother of one son and grandmother of one precious baby girl (born 12/13/02), one precious baby boy (born 1/20/04), and another on the way! I have two cats, one dog, two parakeets, an aquarium including some newly born babies, and two frogs and a goldfish in another aquarium, keeping me company in the kitchen. I also love plants and flowers, inside and outside, and have many! Fuschias are my favorites and we have many varieties.

I have recently planted my first herb garden and have begun using the fresh herbs in my cooking, and what an exciting experience that is proving to be! Vegetables were also new in my garden last year — the pumpkins were wonderful!!

I am quite eclectic in my favorite foods. I am willing to try anything, and like most everything! I am having soooo much fun trying the recipes here on Zaar and have broadened my horizons even more with the help of all of you!
