Hi everyone!

My name is Heather and I'm a 25 year old graduate student in Physics. I love to read (although it's mostly Physics textbooks these days), write (eventually I'll finish my novel haha), do anything outdoors and, of course, cook!

I only really got cooking about two years ago, but I am officially addicted. I've had my share of absolute atrocities (mostly in the first six months or so) but I think I can honestly say I'm a decent cook now. That's probably because I pretty much watch every cooking show on the food network and literally pore through every recipe book I can get my hands on. It also helps that I have a wonderful boyfriend who is open to anything and everything I cook. :D Yay! He can be a pretty ruthless critic so he keeps me on my toes.

Me in 50 words or less:
To me, life is for exploring new places and things and challenging old habits and schools of thought. I believe in: coloring outside the lines; holding doors; dreaming big; and saying "thank you". Food is good. Always smile.

Favorite Foods:

My absolute favorite food is anything and everything Indian. mmm

Runners up include: Italian, French, Spanish, German, Mexican, Asian, Canadian/American... ok I just love food. :D
