about me

I love to eat! At home I mostly cook Turkish food as it comes naturally, however I enjoy all types of food, especially when it's prepared for me If I had a month off and the money to spare my destination would be the Turkish Riviera, with its Turquoise Seas and divine beaches...or Costa Rica, Spain, Ireland, Egypt, Italy...actually anywhere would be perfect!...
That was a year ago and now I'm living and working in Turkey I got engaged in January 2004 and the wedding is in September...let me tell you I've started dreaming about the wedding and we still have 2 and a half months to go :S
I just updated my about me page so that I was able to include this pic This is me and Bulent at a wedding a couple of weeks ago...he looks a bit dazed, but as long as I look good in the picture that's all that matters !LOL! (I love him to pieces:D)...but then I found out that when I posted that picture it was waaaay to small so now I'm trying one of me solo...hope this one works cause I'm getting frustrated :S...

Ok so it didn't work either (if anyone knows how to use villagephotos and get large pictures to show up they are more than welcome to tell me how:S ) In the meantime here's a photo of me during one of our Annual Turkish Folkdance shows...oh another tidbit about me, I've been Folkdancing forever and am absolutely crazy about it. This dance is from north-eastern Turkey from a region called Kafkas.

Favorite Foods:

There are soooo many it's incredibly hard to choose but if I had to put down something, all types of salad, all types of meze's, sushi, everything my mom makes, cheesecake, cheese, olives, tomatoes, my favourite spice has got to be oregano...and I miss my Tim Horton's ICED CAPPUCINO'S :S (don't know if I spelt the correctly:S), sunflower seeds, hummus...wow if you'd let me I'd just go on forever :D
