about me

My husband and I are self-employed. We build new homes and I am a licensed real estate broker. We have 4 grown children and 8 wonderful grandchildren. Most of them have settled close to home so we see them often. In fact, a lot of our leisure time is spent with grandchildren. We love to two step to good country/western music and occasionally treat ourselves with going out to eat, not often, we are both watching our weight!

Favorite Foods:

My favorite restaurant in our area is Cheddar's, the food is really good and the frozen margaritas are even better. My favorite food to cook is spaghetti with meat sauce, I cook a large pot every Thanksgiving, and no one in the family misses Thanksgiving lunch at Meme's house. I don't cook as much as I did when the kids were at home, but, I do cook a little something most evenings. Even though I don't cook much any more, one of my favorite things to do is read/look at cookbooks.
You just never know when you might run across a new, great recipe.
