I was raised in Panama Canal Zone so I grew up on spanish cooking..I have too many foods I love!!..Best cook ever is my Father, still cooking at 81 !..moved to Illinois in 79 when the treaty for the Zone went thru ..but my heart is still in PANAMA...I love to read, watch tv, do ceramics and latch hook..love animals..I LOVE crock pot cooking with a passion!!..For fun hubby and I ride the Harley everywhere, we take "day" trips which sometimes end up being 2-3 days cause we have so much fun!..

Ahhhh this is where my memories from Panama kick in..
micha bread!, empanadas, arroz con pollo, ceviche, johnny mazettie, corvina , fried hamburger's from the BALBOA CLUBHOUSE, OHHHH they were so good!!.NAPOLI's PIZZA!!!!...yes baby yes!!!..just one more time!!!..cho cho's, platanos... my favorite dish to cook would have to be either Arroz Con Pollo or MY pot roast..I also make the best little cheesecake in Illinois!!!...my baked beans are to die for..recipe handed down from generation to generation as was spag sauce recipe , but I guess the dish I am "famous" for ( at hubby's work) is my baked beans!!

Favorite restaurant would be Mongolian BBQ..just like up at ALBOOK OFFICERS CLUB!!
