about me

Probably the first thing you should know about me is that I love dogs. I know a lot about them, and can tell you a lot about the different breeds that there are. I have a 1-year-old Pomeranian named Toby.

I am very shy around people I don't know, but once I get to know you, I'm a very nice person.

In my spare time, I like to read, watch TV, and surf the Internet.

My pet peeves are: waking up early (before noon) - I am NOT a morning person; loud noises - I am very sound-sensitive; the sound of bagpipes - In my opinion, there is nothing more annoying than the sound of bagpipes; running out of hot water when I take a shower - I refuse to shower in cold water, no matter how hot I am; people who don't excuse themselves after they burp or fart - It's rude and gross; people who yell at their dogs to shut up when they're barking - It may make the dog stop barking, but it's not nice, and the dog is going to think that you're barking along with him; and the beeping noise a car makes when you open the door - It's just annoying.

My other interests include horses (includes horses in general, horseback riding, and horse racing), shopping (especially at Barnes & Noble!), puzzles, horror movies, collecting Beanie Babies, MySpace, Facebook, going to the State Fair, taking pictures, taking video with my videocamera, scenery, swimming, and Mad Libs.

A special talent that I have is that I can name all the winners of the Kentucky Derby, from when it began in 1875 to the present. I'm the only person I know who can do this. It just goes to show you that I love horse racing.
