about me

besides cooking and collecting recipes and cookbooks my other hobby is smoking cigars, with a good drink and relaxing on the deck with family and friends. I am married, have 2 childern, aged 25 and 22, and now a great daughter in law.

I am best known for making soups from scratch. Sometimes i use a recipe, but just as a guide, making changes to fit what is in the cupboard or my mood. I always make extra to share with the neighbors and friends. Maybe some day I'll open a soup and sandwich shop. But untill then I'll just cook for family, friends and myself.

Favorite Foods:

The food(s) I am most famous for would be my Chicken Corn Chowder.When my daughter comes home , she asks if i will make it, and enough for her to take back home. Cheesecakes are all the baking that I do.(but have started making different breads) The rest I leave up to my wife, who is outstanding at that.
