about me

I live in Maine with my husband, son and daughter. I LOVE cookbooks. My fav lately has been the King Arthur Flour Companion but, I especially love John Thorne's "Outlaw Cook" and Bill Neal's "Biscuits, Spoonbread and Sweetpotatoe Pie". I love books on Indian and Thai food and books about the history of food. My passion is ice-hockey, eh?! I am currently an Education technician at a local elementary school.

Favorite Foods:

I love lots of food. I try not to eat foods with partially hydrogenated oils or other nasty ingrediants. Some things that come to mind: Caramel popcorn. Shahi paneer, satay, cabbage, waffles, oven pancakes, thai noodles, lasagne, homemade pasta noodles! I love pastries, pies and cakes too. Geez, did I leave anything out?
