Military wife that is traveling often and tries to make natural or organic foods for my family so we can all enjoy better health. I have always been a self described food snob, but now I am more critical as to what's in my food. I avoid high-fructose corn syrup, artificial sweeteners, soy, and msg especially. This is not an easy feat since almost all processed food contains at least one of these in some form. I love to cook, but I don't want to ALWAYS be in the kitchen. I'm also very bad about adding a dash of this or that and then not writing it down so I forget exactly what to add in the next time I make something. So I'm hoping to start listing my recipes here in order to track them better. Plus, the military movers can't lose a website!
Sushi and Nutella spread. Especially on fresh baked bauguettes and croissants...oh,la,la! Almost anything with salmon, artichokes or cream cheese. True chocolate made with cocoa butter and not soy lecithin. Anything that someone else cooks that tastes great and doesn't give me a headache later because I love trying new foods.
