about me

I live on an organic farm in South Eastern Australia. We like to grow our own food. We have our own beef, lamb, chicken, eggs and our newest venture is our own house cow so we can have lots of raw milk. We also have a veggie patch. This summer I am growing capsicums (bell peppers), zucchini, tomatoes, green beans, basil, red onions, potatoes, leeks, celery, beetroot and a few more things I can't remember at the moment!

Favorite Foods:

Fresh food of any type and homemade anything. Husband is allergic to mushrooms so they are banned. Neither of us really like cucumber either.
Pet peeve is all that food in boxes in the supermarket. What is that stuff??? You read the label and it hardly has anything you can recognise as food in the ingredients. Can this stuff be what will kill off the human race? It certainly is a long way away from our traditional foods and even what our grandparents ate.
