about me

I live in the Califonia High Desert at 4,000 ft. altitude, which sometimes makes baking a challenge. I have a husband, a dog and 11 chickens, and I love them all! I also have to feed them all, which can also be a challenge because my husband doesn't eat red meat and he's very picky in general about what he eats. So is my dog. Fortunately, the chickens are easy. They love food. Period. I feel the same way.

Favorite Foods:

I love all food but I especially enjoy pasta and fried fish and seafood. I really like Asian food, especially fried rice and I've found some great authentic-tasting recipes along the way. I also love Italian food. Eggplant parmesan is one of my favorites. But I have to be careful, otherwise I'll blow up like a balloon. So lately I've been doing low-carb finding some great recipes on this site.
