I'm a hometown girl, born and raised in the country (though I can still see the interstate!). I work as an executive assistant by day, and a real estate agent by night.
I learned to cook at a young age, but mostly just cooked typical family favorites a couple times a week for family dinner.
Now I'm on my own, with my fiance, in Columbus. We have an incredible farmers market (northmarket.com, if you'd like to check it out) and a ton of organic grocery stores around us that make eating well actually fun.
I stumbled across this website a few weeks ago, and finally decided to make an account; this is by far the best recipe site I've been to.
We had one great day of scavenging around Columbus to find the ingredients for three recipes, and spent the weekend, snowed in, and eating some delicious food.
I'm now looking to repeat that experience (perhaps minus the snow) as often as possible.
I'm a huge chicken lover; anything with chicken is usually fine by me. The fiance is a red meat baron, who loves his steaks and his hamburgers.
I'm famous for my home made spaghetti; even my mom can't quite get it the way I do!
My current favorite restaurant is BD's, a make-your-own-stir-fry grill. It's horrible to pay high dollar for something I could probably cook at home, but it's SOOO good.
