about me

I retired 4 months ago after being a nurse for 45 years. Although I always loved to cook, my time was fractured in really getting into it. I believe our family has a "genetic recipe" gene, as my great-grandmother, grandmother, mother (who just turned 90), my daughter, grand-daughters & I love to read recipes and cut those out that sound tasty. I love this site, and try new recipes for the only one, my husband Dan, and me. I appreciate the comments of others after trying the recipes. I love camping, gardening, crocheting, x-stitching etc..

Favorite Foods:

OH, yikes, there are so many! I love BBQ, Oriental flair, Mexican and the old meat and potato recipes that I grew up with. Oh...I love chocolate, hot coffee on a cold night.
