about me

I was born and raised in Eastern North Carolina and now live in our state capital, Raleigh. I have a degree in Classical History from East Carolina University and I work fervently as an Office Manager and Area Sales Agent for the same company, as well as bartend at a local hotel. I am a writer by trade and I am beginning to step forward into the world of freelancing. Yes, I am a multitasker.
Cooking brings me absolute joy and sense of accomplishment. With my hectic work shedule, I don't get to cook for myself as much as I would like, but I hold impromptu dinner parties, brunches, and afternoon gatherings as much as my schedule allows. I currently live by myself with my awesome puppy, Layla, and my evil cat, Elliot.

Favorite Foods:

Anything Greek... I love Japanese cuisine and of course, home-cooked Southern meals. I will try anything once.
