about me

I have lived in the "High Desert" since 1971. I like the dry air and sunshine some 350 days per year.

I recently retired from a job in the travel industry, married my long term BF, and moved out in the country with our "his" and "hers" cats. I am very happy with my life changes.

I love to read and that includes reading cookbooks. I have read all of the "Joy of Cooking" which is probably my all time favorite cook book.

Favorite Foods:

My favorite things to cook change over time. I always like comfort food. Right now I am trying to learn to eat foods with less fat and fewer added chemicals.
