about me

I live in sunny Arizona with my husband. We are the parents of three children; two grown sons and a daughter who will be a senior in college this fall. I am a PreK teacher in a large urban school district.

I enjoy trying new recipes, especially ones that are relatively easy, healthy and produce very flavorful results. I try to incorporate vegetables and herbs from our garden and lemons and limes from our trees into my recipes whenever possible. I greatly appreciate all of the wonderful cooks here on Recipe Zaar who have introduced me to some fantastic new recipes!

I love to use my crockpot, especially in the summer when it's too hot to use the oven, and for soups and stews in the cooler months.

Favorite Foods:

I especially like Mexican and Mediterranean food.
