about me

I work as the Public Works Secretary where I live and have been there 6 years.
In my spare time I love to try new recipes and new foods to my husbands despair, he likes simple home cooking and doesn't like to branch out much, so I always feel good when he likes something new I've cooked.
I love to read, cook, play on the computer.
I don't have a favorite cookbook, I gather recipes from the net, church cookbooks, magazines, and family & friends. I keep a 3 ring binder with clear sheet protectors with all my gathered recipes.
I've had people ask for my recipes of things I've made and I learned to cook from my mother and we don't always measure everything, so it's hard to tell someone how to make something. lol
If it sounds good to you add it in, if it looks right, it's ready...lol

Favorite Foods:

I love plain old meatloaf and mashed potatoes. That's one of my faves. Got that recipe from my mother-in-law.
I love most any foods...love seafood, fave restaurant would have to be Red Lobster. That's the closest to good seafood within an hour drive.
