Love to play with food - baking is my specialty (not muffins, that's from a good friend at an old job), but brownies and bar cookies of all kinds, cakes on occasion. Still haven't mastered pie crust (will I ever?), so pies are rare. Like to cook, too, but not quite as successful at that. Not bad, mind you, just not as good as my baking endeavors. I collect recipes of all sorts, which prompts the hubby to roll his eyes at my space-gobbling collection. Major pet peeve is picky eaters. Everyone has one food or another they don't like, and I respect being picky for health reasons, but adults who have eating habits like the average 5yr old cause me to be rather disgruntled! You may never find out how good foods can be if you're afraid to try things. In the cooking world, looks aren't everything.

Outside of the brownies and cookies (the main requests from my coworkers), my two dishes most requested by the family are Streusel-top pumpkin pie (graham cracker crusts, I can do!), and lasagna. My hubby would beg to differ, he usually asks for my nachos and sopes.
I don't have a favorite restaurant, because I love so many for different reasons. Midwest Grill in Boston, Rio's in Lowell MA,or Seabra's Rodizio in NJ for Brazilian food, Garibaldi's Mexican in Providence RI for authentic Mexican, Sal's North End in Billerica MA for pizza, Longhorn Steakhouse for steak and margaritas, Cobblestone's in downtown Lowell for game dishes, so on and so forth.
