about me

I am a NH homemaker with two great(sometimes) kids age 11 & 4.
My all-time favorite cookbook is the Better Homes New Cookbook (aka red check cookbook). I have used that poor cookbook since I first started cooking and still use it frequently!
(yes, I have expanded my selection!)
I love to read...used to have more hobbies...but my mind has gone curiously mushy since having kids!
My MAJOR pet peeve is SQUISHED BREAD! Ukkkk, totally despise it if I get home and the bread is SQUISHED!!!!!
If I had a month off, with no responsibilities(no kids)(perish the thought)I would like to go to a grandiose all-inclusive beach resort, lie on a beachchair with a straw hat on my head and dark sunglasses perched on my nose, and sip slowly on an icy-cold pina colada, while my husband fans me with a palm leaf (too many movies!)

Favorite Foods:

My favorite food to cook...hmmm....(scratch head)....grilled cheese and tomato soup if I'm tired, Irish cream cheese cake if I really want to splurge...yummmmmmm! Cassoulet if I want to entertain for several people, Taco Dip if I need to bring something, and the speciality of the house (a family tradition) Mini & Mickie Mouse Chocolate Chip Pancakes just to make the kids smile!
