I am living the life that I would have written for myself, if ever given the chance. (Although a bit more money would be nice) I am married to my soul mate - and have been for 5 years now, and we have three wonderfully intelligent, fun, awesome kids together. We are trying to be "Competent Adults" in a crazy world. My husband is a classically trained french chef, who is now working as an apprenticed plumber, and I am learning to cook!
All in all, life is fun.
My gig is baking usually (not that I claim to be a baker... I just enjoy following recipes... take away my recipes and we'd be eating kraft dinner every night!) I am just beginning to learn to cook good meals... the culinary universe beyond hot dogs and french fries is unexpectedly entertaining!
My family has very few dislikes. My kids (ages 4 and 6 and not yet 1 year) like everything as long as it has no visible spice at all... their favorite food is sushi, and my husband hasn't any dislikes either - unless you can call bland food a dislike.
Overall Id say that the family favorite is pasta. Spegetinni with a thick meat sauce, and on "Fancy Nights" garlic cheese bread and choclate milk.
