about me

I am a stay at home mom of a beautiful baby girl. I simply love looking for new recipes - I especially enjoy testing them!
My favorite cook book is Betty Crocker (of course!). I love it because it tells me how to cook all those basic things that I should remember but usually don't - like how long to boil an egg or what temperature to cook a roast. I also own a few old community cookbooks that were my grandmothers - they contain wonderful back to basics recipes. Right now, I would like to buy the "More With Less" and "Extending the Table" cookbooks because I am interested in the idea of eating lower on the food chain.

Favorite Foods:

Anything saucy! I also love garden tomatoes, raspberries, fresh herbs, fresh fish and unfortunately sometimes I'm a sucker for fast food (but who isn't??).
I am absolutely addicted to sate sauce, and if I kept it in the fridge regularly I would eat it daily. Any kind of white bread is my vice. I think it gives me a high! I try to stay away from it, but I do love it so!
