I really started enjoying cooking and baking about 7 years ago after I had sinus surgery. Before then, it was like I was walking around with a cold all the time. I didn't know it at the time, but I could not really taste or smell food to its fullest extent. Once I had my surgery, I then realized how great spices and herbs and true flavors were. That is when I began to enjoy cooking. So I consider myself a newbie, still learning and loving it. I give all the Glory to God for his miraculous healing of my body!
