about me

My grandchildren are my passion. I am dedicated to helping them learn to appreciate healthy fruits and vegetables as well as traditional comfort foods. I especially enjoy making soups from scratch.

Favorite Foods:

Potato soup, broccoli cheese soup, chicken barley soup, shrimp or crab soup all top my favorites list.

I adore creamy desserts such as tiramisu, Boston cream cake, eclairs, or black forest cake though diabetes has curtailed how often I make them now.

German food became a favorite after I lived in Wurzburg for 3 years. Das Waldcafe in Newport News VA is my favorite German restaurant outside Germany.
