about me

I am a 22 year old newlywed. My husband works in seizmographing so we travel alot, we spend about 1/3 of the year in our home town. I love to cook and try new recipes, my husband is kind of picky on some things but most of the time I can either disguise the ingredient he doesn't like or use something similar he will approve of. Since we stay in hotels most of the time, I favor recipes which I can cook in a crock pot or electric skillet. When we are home in Texas, that's when I go all out and use the recipes with ovens and stoves involved. I am always looking for ways to improve my cooking (and baking) so please feel free to comment as you like on any of my own recipes which I may post.

Favorite Foods:

I love all foods! I love to cook anything Italian-like and Mexican, since it is our heritage. Everyone in Texas begs for my Green Chicken Enchiladas and Pastel de Tres Leches. It never fails, when we go home, someone calls and asks if I can make them one or the other. Since I love to cook, my husband and I rarely go out to eat, unless we are celebrating something or we have been invited. But when we do go, we always head to Delicia's Mexican Restaurant (BEST REAL Mexican food in Odessa) and Texas Roadhouse (BEST steaks in Odessa).
