Hi! I live about 20 miles east of Pittsburgh, PA. I am a mom of 2 great kids, one naughty kitty, and one darling pug. My husband, who is a work-a-holic, and I take care of my 85 year old Dad who lives up the street. I love to work in the garden.One thing I can't stand are rude people. You know the ones that don't have an ounce of kindness in them. I just can't understand why some people act the way they do.
I am a rather novice cook. Actually I didn't cook much until my mother died.Thats why I am always on the lookout for simple and quick recipes. I do love to bake. Always have, especially during the holidays.

My moms old fashioned german cooking was the best,(I sure do miss it), and just about everything that my MIL makes.
