about me

I had no idea websites like this existed until I got married last year and began experimenting with different recipes. I love being able to review recipes and decide what to search for depending on the ingredients in our home. Feedback about dishes are so useful aswell. Anyway about me...I'm a wife to a wonderful man who will eat anything I cook so I'm truly blessed there. He's such a pleasure to cook for! I work as a nurse which keeps me busy and on my toes when it comes to menu planning. I am addicited to cookbooks at the moment. My favourite of the month is Annabel Langbein "Food for busy lives." Fabulous food made in no time! For more extensive menus I really like Gordon Ramsey. My goal is to write down all the recipes I want to try and work my way through them!

Favorite Foods:

I love flavourful dishes such as Thai. It's hard to beat Hot and Sour Soup or a Massaman Curry. I also love good ole Kiwi Cuisine...freshly sorced produce with canterbury lamb. As far as eating out goes, the food at '50 on the Park', Canterbury Tales and Retour here in Christchurch are to die for.
