about me

Am the proud owner of 2 dogs (Toby & Bandit), 2 cats (Shadow & Mickey), 2 parakeets (Ariel & Fwirl), 1 zebra finch (Twix), 7 chickens, and 1 gerbil (Jubilee). I've had many other pets including an ill-tempered parakeet named Dixie (which is where I got my user name). I love to cook, but got tired of the same old recipes. So, while looking up a recipe on the Internet, I found this site and have fallen in love with it! Luckily my family likes to try new things so I end up making a new recipe at least once a week.
