'Zaar is one of my happiest discoveries on the web. Food is a big hobby - I love eating out and reading cookbooks. Funny thing is, I only started cooking in the last few years. I love collecting recipes with the hope that someday I'll have the courage and expertise to try them!

My inspiration to start cooking is my husband who eats anything and never says a critical word. Then again, he's an easygoing guy who would eat cereal for dinner if i let him. We love entertaining so I'm always on the lookout for easy, make-ahead recipes that look like you spent hours in the kitchen. Kitchen gadgets and appliances are wonderful. I love my crockpot and Kitchen-aid mixer!

Favorite Foods:

Yum, so many foods, so little time. Love Asian cuisines - Chinese, Japanese, Thai... I could easily have sushi every night of the week. Spicy foods rule. I'm known as a soup fanatic in the winter. Ice cream, potatoes, shellfish, noodles, fried chicken, and homemade cakes are my weaknesses. When I'm not eating, drinking tea is how I relax. A steaming cup of green tea and a new cookbook on the sofa is usually where you can find me after a hard day at work.
