about me

When I moved out with my boyfriend of 2 years in June 07, I had never cooked anything from scratch before. Every meal I had made had come from a box or pre-frozen bag. Desperate for new meal ideas, I stumbled upon recipezaar, and fell in love. This website has helped inspire many creative dinners, and I plan to begin sharing them with the world soon enough. My favorite cookbook has to be the one my mother passed down to me, it has been in the family for a long time, and I have already begun to adapt the recipes to my liking. Fresh out of high school, and lost for ideas on what to do with my life, I have develeoped to love cooking, and may just follow in my mother's footsteps and persue the culinary arts. My mother wants to start a catering business, and I will be the first one there, lending a hand, getting it up and running.

Favorite Foods:

Steak, chicken soulvaki, home made pizza, mediterranean chicken, home made perogies with onions and garlic sausage.

Despite that it is my first year making it, my peanut brittle is the most talked about treat at Christmas time.

My favorite restaurants are the Keg, Montanas, El Nopals (small mexican restaurant in Sumas, WA), and Ihop.
