I have an inherit passion for collecting cookbooks and recipes. This looks like a good fourm to do this and share what I know with others. Along with cookbooks I collect old glass fruit bowls, and depression glass, and other types of glass old or new if it is pretty "or could tell a story"
I collect it? That is the nice way to say--PACK RAT when it comes to glass.
I was raised on the coast of Washington state, and was raised on FRESH seafood ! I have lived in Montana, and New Mexico also where I learned to cook Mexican/American style food.
Selftaught my own Bisc & Sausage Gravy. I subscribe to several "foodie" magazines, I often take a recipe and change it to my own taste.

Favorite Foods:

LOVE any thing FRESH and will go to many markets in a day to gather what I want for Dinner.
Dislikes well uh, offal. Green peppers most of the time, they have a "green" taste to me and so do a few other peppers.
Favorite sayings: I cook with wine...sometimes I even put it in the food.
Worry looks back, Sorry looks down, Faith looks up.
